Check for Recycling
Digital solution for the recyclability of your Packaging & PPWR conformity.
Simple, digital, legally compliant.
The PPWR requirements for declarations of conformity are imminent.
The PPWR will soon make it mandatory to provide proof of the recyclability of your packaging. With our newly developed online tool ‘Check for Recycling’, we guide you through the process of ensuring your packaging complies with regulations – simply, easily and in accordance with the law.
Your challenge, our solution
The PPWR becomes stricter in Europe
- 01.02.2025 – the PPWR comes into force
- 12.08.2026: The Declaration of conformity becomes mandatory
- 01.01.2028: New Labelling requirements become mandatory
- 01.01.2030: Only packaging that is fully recyclable may be used

Check for Recycling as digital solution

Interzero Plastics Innovations: The competence center for recycled plastics
The service catalogue provides a complete overview of the laboratory equipment and the individual analysis methods with technical details.
Plastic becomes recycled plastic
Plastic can take on many different properties depending on its composition. This makes it so practical and versatile – whether as packaging, in automotive construction, as textiles, or as household items, from mixing bowls to rubber ducks.
Anyone who can modify the material’s properties also determines what can be made from recycled plastic. This not only increases the possible applications but also advances the circular economy.
At the competence center, Interzero Plastics Innovations is researching the efficient use of our raw materials: formulations are being developed that give the granules the properties required by customers in the plastics processing industry.

Interzero receives patent for previously impossible mechanical recycling process - HDPE for bottle production made from 100% used packaging from the Yellow Bag for the first time

The patented recycling process was developed in the company’s own competence center for plastics recycling and involves the production of a recycled plastic material from lightweight packaging (LVP) containing at least 80% HDPE and is used in the production of blow-moulded products.
This is a mechanical recycling process in which a special combination of additives produces high-density polyethylene (HDPE) with a flowability during processing that is comparable to that of new plastic. The material used consists of 100% used packaging from the Yellow Bag in Germany. The new recycling process does not require the addition of newly produced plastic or the re-sorting of used packaging.
Packaging can be produced according to individual requirements, including bottles that can be used for products such as detergents and cleaning agents.
